Customer Services Support

Location: Slough

Hours: 8:00 am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday

To continue the growth of our Slough office we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Services Support person to join our team.

For over 50 years the company has built a reputation as a specialist technical distributor of industrial control and factory automation products. Their continued success comes from their commitment to product support and customer service. They now employ over 130 people and from their 12 branch locations throughout the UK and Ireland, provide a local service to their customers.

Responsibilities of the Customer Services Support:

  • Picking and preparing orders, ready for delivery
  • Handling incoming deliveries
  • Multi drop deliveries in the company vehicle
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
  • Answer incoming calls to support and sell the company product range.
  • Accurately process sales and purchase orders using in house systems.
  • Ensure customer records are updated frequently and accurately on the Customer Relationship Management Software.
  • Provide feedback to the sales team on newly emerging opportunities, proactively assisting as required.
  • Maintain culture of continuous improvement and excellence in customer service.
  • Collate and co-ordinate information requested for management purposes.
  • Any other ad hoc duties required of the Branch Manager.

Requirements of the Customer Services Support:

  • Experience in a customer services support role.
  • Excellent customer interaction skills.
  • Strong organisational, administrative and telephone skills.
  • Ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and follow through on commitments.
  • Excellent attention to detail such that customer orders and information are accurate.
  • Willingness to undertake a variety of roles in a busy, changing environment.
  • Confident telephone manner.
  • Computer literate (MS Office).
  • Full driving licence.
  • Sound electrical and industry knowledge is desirable.
